  • Eligibility Criteria We embrace an open approach to application submissions, welcoming all proposals without prerequisites, priorities, or biases. Whether your idea is tech-related or not, as long as it contributes to the betterment of Stacks, the proposal will be considered.

  • Pilot Fund Size: $25,000 The possible funding pool is set at $25,000 for Q4 2023. We kindly request that individual applicants be mindful of this amount when submitting their grant requests.

  • Expectations of Fund Usage The program's objective is not to deplete the grant funds entirely but to thoughtfully allocate resources to high-quality projects that genuinely propel the Stacks ecosystem forward, ensuring a lasting impact.

  • Review Process Our grant proposal review process is comprised of three main steps:

    • Phrase 1: Collaboration and Support Before Submission Before you submit your application, we offer pre-submission support. This includes facilitating X/Twitter Spaces sessions where applicants can collaborate with stewards to refine their proposals together if needed.

    • Phrase 2: Discussion and Evaluation During Submission period During the submission period, we engage in ongoing discussions with applicants and evaluate their proposals by referencing the 7 Review Criteria & Rating Scale and any relevant community feedback. We may reach out to applicants for clarification to ensure that applications are well-prepared.

    • Phrase 3: Final Decision and Ongoing Monitoring We make final decisions after the comprehensive evaluation period. We maintain an open line of communication with grantees, supporting project execution, and continuously monitoring progress toward intended outcomes.
